Official debut CD release date was February 22, 2002 - The quartet spent 4 days in August at The Carriage House Studio in Stamford, CT recording their debut CD. Mass in C Minor by Thomas McFaul
The Fry Street Quartet had the privilege of recording the string parts to Thomas McFaul's Mass in c minor. It is a magnificent and breathtaking work written in the baroque style that brings to life the great Latin texts of the Mass. The evolution of this recording is unique, state of the art, and admittedly backwards! The composer writes a fascinating account of the unfolding of this mammoth project on his website. Explore the website and listen to samples, read several accounts from the composer and artists, check out the roster of musicians, and look at pictures at www.tommcfaul.com.
